This geometrically-styled teapot is styled to look like the Shuangxi character, known as "Double Happiness," a common symbol for weddings. It is depicted in red, the color for all happy occasions in China. This symbol will be found on the clothing of the bride and groom, on the wall, in the bridal chamber, and on the cakes and all wedding paraphernalia. The Shuangxi image has been used in almost every Chinese household for thousands of years, and is also known as "together forever," making it a traditional wedding gift. more details

Members have been jailed in the past for attempting to renounce Islam, and the group's bizarre constructions have been deemed to be against local regulations.
The group's controversial structures - which given it the nickname "teapot cult" - are said to combine architectural elements from Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism.
The teapot is thought to signify the purity of water, while the umbrella signifies God, who shelters everyone in the world.
