This geometrically-styled teapot is styled to look like the Shuangxi character, known as "Double Happiness," a common symbol for weddings. It is depicted in red, the color for all happy occasions in China. This symbol will be found on the clothing of the bride and groom, on the wall, in the bridal chamber, and on the cakes and all wedding paraphernalia.
