"Teapot" Friends Reunited
Paul has had a re-think with regard to the open day and, bearing in mind that no doubt many of you will be going down to Sue Blayze's open house this weekend, and the fact that May 3rd is bank holiday weekend, Paul is planning to postpone this day until later in the month - the exact date to be announced soon!

Automatic teapot
The Automatic Teapot is a 20-ounce stoneware teapot that automatically steeps your tea, without using batteries or electricity.
The infuser basket doubles as a counterweight, which is triggered to turn over once the timer finishes. They say it has a drip less spout too!

"Teapot" Friends Reunited
To all of you avid teapot collectors out there, Paul Cardew is holding a "Teapot Friends Reunited" open day down at the Cardew Pottery at Bovey Tracey on the 3rd May.
Due to the company’s imminent closure, this will be the very last day that you will be able to see the Cardew Teapottery in all of its glory and bag those teapot bargains.
This day will give you the chance to catch up with friends and foes that many of you have made over the years through your teapot collecting and the many Signing Days and evening events that Paul has held.

"Tin Can" teapot
This teapot was one of the very first teapots that Paul Cardew ever made. It was produced whilst he was working with "Sunshine Ceramics" and went into production but was a very small run. Even Sue Blayze of "Teapot Island" fame does not have one of these! He is accepting sealed bids with regard to this teapot, of no less than £1,000, so if you are interested in this teapot, do please send him an e-mail and let him know.
