Inflatable Teapots!
Paul Cardew is back on the teapot trail again. As well as bringing out 2007 versions of the old traditional favourites teapots like the "Welsh Dresser" and "Tea Van", he is also bringing out some new fun and funky designs this year as well.
Paul's "Inflatable Teapot" has already been covered by several newspapers in the area to do with a local charity and people have been coming in their droves to see them.
These teapots are made to order and Paul is planning to produce them in several colours, to suit everyone's taste. The first 50 of the edition will be personally signed by Paul and backstamped. Paul is planning some other "inflatable" items in the range, which will be vases and bowls.

Walter Keeler
A teapot and nine mugs by ceramicist Walter Keeler has won the top prize at the 2007 Welsh Artist of the Year competition.
Mr Keeler was singled out by the panel of judges for his "extraordinary achievement" in producing the salt-glazed pieces.
Judge Duncan Ayscough said "The teapot and mugs encapsulated Mr Keeler's work at its best." and said "his body of work had the same power to effect the viewer as a Norman Foster building or Barbara Hepworth sculpture."
