Marianne Brandt

A 1927 tea infuser by Marianne Brandt was sold for $361,000 at a Sotheby’s Bauhaus design auction. Brandt’s Model No. MT 49 tea infuser is made from silver plated brass and ebony and stamped 137 on the underside and rim of the lid. It was sold to an American museum on 14th December.
