This teapot is one of many pieces of handmade, decorative, functional stoneware pottery fired in a wood firing kiln located in Wadena, MN. Designed & built in 1989 by the artist.
Randomly deposited & melting wood ash inside the kiln, on the pottery's rims & shoulders, enhance the hand painted decoration, making each piece unique & visually textured.
