Potfest in the Pens,


A POTTY table setting caused a bit of a stir in Carlisle yesterday.
Giant teacups and an enormous teapot made by potters were created in an unusual competition outside the Guild Hall in English Street.
The contest to create a banquet setting was held by the organisers of Potfest in the Pens, one of Europe’s leading festivals of ceramics being held at Penrith this weekend.

did you know that International ceramics festival showing the work of over 100 potters and ceramic artists from all over the UK and mainland Europe. Potfest in the Pens, now in its 15th year, is the oldest potters' market in the UK.?
