Teapot Collection


They describe it as "The World's Largest Teapot Collection" {surely no longer accurate?] a permanent exhibit in the council chambers of the Trenton City Hall. Dr. Frederick C. Freed donated his collection of 525 fancy "porcelain Veilleuse-Theieres" teapots in 1955. These are rare, highly ornate porcelain pots, many in the shape of human figures or animals.
The town also holds an annual Teapot Festival in late April.

Hi,By all accounts this is still the largest collection in the world. We have a teapot festival the first week in may every year.

Sue Blazye has 4850 teapots in her collection at Teapot Island and Sonny Kamm has more than 6000!!!
