The Collectors Corner

Stemming from last year’s successful debut of a Lewes Historical Society program first, The Collectors Corner will once again be the feature of the Friday, March 17, program scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Lewes Presbyterian Church hall on Kings Highway in Lewes Delaware.
Each collector featured will be available to answer questions during and after the presentations.
Irene Robb, past president of the Lewes Historical Society, is like many collectors who have become enamored with history and collecting. Her teapot collection began when she was a member of a collectors club. “I wanted to collect something that was visually interesting yet practical. I liked teapots and knew that I could show them off when entertaining or just serving a hot pot of tea to friends or family,” she says. Her collection includes antique and new teapots, from France, China, Japan, England and America and have a wide variety of styles and artistic designs.
The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the presentations.
