The teatem pole

Rod Humby never liked the sight of the washing line post in his garden. So he turned it into a ceramic totem sculpture with salvaged and scavenged crockery. It looks precarious, but actually the original metal pole runs up the middle, with the pieces threaded over the top and bonded with coloured mortar.
It never fails to get a comment and an opinion from anyone who sees it!
